The Deacon's Ministry

The mission of the Deacon's Ministry, as assigned by the Pastor, is to administer to the congregation as the Pastor's representative through their varied capacities, including the areas of baptism, communion, visitation, prayer, spiritual growth, and in the administration of the church's spiritual business.
Membership in the Deacon's Ministry is by appointment by the Pastor and approval of the congregation.
Membership is limited to adult males only.

The mission of the Trustees' Ministry is to be accountable to God, the Pastor, and the congregation in the oversight and maintenance of all property and possessions entrusted to them in accordance with the requirements of the laws of God and the State of Ohio.
Membership in the Trustees' Ministry is by appointment by the Pastor and the approval of the congregation.
Membership is limited to adults only.



Transportation Ministry

The mission of the Transportation Ministry is to transport members and guests to and from church on Sunday mornings to Sunday School, New Member's Orientation, and Morning Worship and to area churches with whom Mt. Carmel worships, as necessary.
Adult members interested in serving in this ministry are welcome. You must have a valid Ohio Driver's License, evidence of current automobile insurance and a good driving record.



Evangelism Ministry

The Evangelism Ministry's mission is to do public outreach to people who are not a part of the local body of Christ at Mt. Carmel and to lead them to Christ and His plan of salvation through door-to-door and street corner contact and regular follow up.
Membership and participation in the Evangelism Ministry is not limited to the leadership team, but is the responsibility of the entire Mt. Carmel church family. Workshops and seminars will be conducted throughout the year to train members to do effective Discipleship and Witnessing. The Field Evangelism Schedule is published and distributed monthly.

The mission of the Youth Mission Groups that follow is to do evangelism and win souls, visit the sick and shut-in, and participate in odd jobs and programs at Mt. Carmel.
Membership in the Crusaders is open to boys, ages 12 - 18 years of age.
Membership in the Guild Girls is open to girls, ages 12 - 18 years of age.
Membership in the Children's Band is open to Girls and Boys, ages 5 - 11 years of age.
Membership in the Girl Scouts is open to Girls ages 6 - 18 years of age. Membership will include girls from the Greater Dayton Community.
